David Evennett MP

Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, has expressed his anger at the delays by the Post Office in getting a new branch in Crayford. He has been in regular contact and has held meetings with representatives from the Post Office since the closure of the Crayford branch to urge them into action. Mr Evennett has written to the Post Office again this week.

Mr Evennett commented: “The Crayford office closed in June and I was promised a new facility would open in Crayford town.”

“Despite pressure from myself and real anger and disappointment in the town, we still do not have any news. Warm words from the Post Office are not enough. We need action now”
