Local MPs welcome Indian Exchange Students to Parliament

Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, and Rt Hon James Brokenshire, MP for Old Bexley and Sidcup, welcomed a group of Indian exchange students from The Modern School in Delhi to Parliament earlier today (20 June).

Evennett joins Mencap at Parliamentary Reception

Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, attended a Parliamentary Reception on Monday (18 June) hosted by the charity Mencap, to help celebrate Learning Disability Week and to learn about their ‘Treat Me Well’ campaign.

Evennett welcomes new Odyssey Trust for Education

From 1 September 2018, Townley Grammar School and Erith School will form a new Multi Academy Trust (MAT) called the Odyssey Trust for Education. As part of the merger, Erith School will be renamed to King Henry School, which is in reference to both King Henry V and King Henry VIII.

Evennett visits Bursted Wood Primary

Rt Hon Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, paid a visit to Bursted Wood Primary School last Friday (15 June) to meet Headteacher, Mrs Dryland, and to tour the school.

Defence Secretary Guests at Tory Dinner
