Crayford restaurant Assos hosted the Mayor’s Charity Dinner on Monday evening (5 December). Guests enjoyed a three course meal, and the company of Bexley’s Mayor, Cllr Eileen Pallen, as well as her husband Mark.
Singer Calli Malpas provided the entertainment for the evening, performing both contemporary songs and hits from the 1960s. There was in addition a fundraising raffle for the Mayor’s charities (Tackling Loneliness in in Older People and Alzheimer’s Bexley).
Among the guests were Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, and his wife Marilyn, Major David Hewer, Deputy Lieutenant of Bexley, and his wife Tessa, local Councillors, and other London Mayors.
