Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, joined the Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Revd James Langstaff, this morning (11 October) for a breakfast meeting in the House of Lords to discuss the Rochester diocese’s future plans. Also in attendance were Parliamentary colleagues Bob Neill MP and Kelly Tolhurst MP.
The Rt Revd Langstaff delivered a presentation titled ‘Beyond Sundays’, in which he discussed Rochester diocese’s plans for greater engagement within the community through a number of focused activities and providing services in every local area of the diocese.
