Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP was the guest speaker at the Bexleyheath and Crayford Ladies’ Annual Conference Lunch. The sell-out event was held in the Conservative Club, Bexleyheath.
Mrs Leadsom spoke about her role as Leader of the House of Commons and Lord President of the Council, before answering questions from members.
Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, also addressed the attendees and spoke about health issues, and obesity in particular. Among the other guests at the lunch were Cllr Teresa O’Neill OBE, Leader of Bexley Council, Matthew Scott, Police and Crime Commissioner for Kent, Sophie Stratton, London Area CWO Chairman. In the Chair was Sheila Vickers, with the vote of thanks delivered by Maureen King. The event concluded with a fundraising raffle.
