On 11th July 2025 Crook Log Councillors Cllr Baroness O’Neill of Bexley OBE, Cllr Chris Taylor and Cllr Janice Ward-Wilson visited Mind in Bexley’s Community Pantry on Devonshire Road. They selected the impactful local project to receive a £500 donation from the Bexley Mayoral Appeal 2024-2025.

The Pantry provides discounted shopping for vulnerable adults in the borough and offer support services for those struggling with their mental health. The pantry is supported by local volunteers and is a vital resource for those that need it. The councillors had a tour of the facility and met with local Mind workers as well as meeting a number of service users.
