Rt Hon David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, and Cllr Peter Reader, the Mayor of Bexley, paid a visit to Groveland Park Care Home in Barnehurst on Friday afternoon (16 February) to help celebrate the 100th birthday of local resident Tom Jones.
Mr Evennett and Cllr Reader were both honoured to be guests at Tom’s birthday gathering where they celebrated this significant milestone. Mr Evennett spoke with Tom and his guests about his long life and the many experiences he has had.
