David Evennett MP

Yesterday (10 September) the Government published the final report of the Boundary Commission’s review for new Parliamentary constituencies.

Following the publication, Sir David Evennett, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, commented: “The Boundary Commission’s proposals see Bexleyheath town dismantled, Welling split across three constituencies, the historic Parish of Crayford destroyed, and Thamesmead fractured.

“I am bitterly disappointed that the Boundary Commission have failed to take into account the various representations made by local residents and keeping communities together.”
