On Saturday afternoon (26 August), Rt Hon David Evennett MP attended the Bexleyheath Rooftop Fest held on the roof of the Bexleyheath Shopping Centre car park. Under brilliant sunshine and a blue sky, residents and shoppers enjoyed live music, singers, children’s entertainment, Indian dancers, food, stalls, a bar and VIP guest appearances.
Mr Evennett commented “it was a great event and a fantastic advert for the Broadway Shopping Centre - encouraging people to shop, celebrate, stay and enjoy the opportunities of Bexleyheath. Bexleyheath centre has so much to offer, from Morleys department store and a wide variety of shops to many restaurants, coffee shops and the Bexleyheath Conservative club.”
