Commuters and local residents on their way to Barnehurst station on Friday morning (27 September) were able to stop in the front garden of Anne Rawlings’ home to purchase coffee and homemade cake as part of the MacMillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event.

Anne, together with Hilary Haslam & Ruth Smith, manned the stall outside her Barnehurst Road home from early morning before returning to the kitchen to continue the coffee morning inside where many members of local community supported.

Rt Hon Sir David Evennett MP and his wife Lady Evennett were among the attendees of the charity event which made £900.
